We are especially excited about this website we designed for a new app, as we had the opportunity to help the client with branding from the ground up. First, after much research, we performed detailed SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analyses on potential names for the new app. After the client chose their favorite name, we knew we wanted to use a color palette that would appeal to the app user demographic—flooring estimators. To do so, we chose a bright orange that would subtly evoke a place where they might spend a lot of time, and would be perfect to use for a logo bug in the shape of a ruler. From there, the web design evolved naturally.
A slideshow on the homepage tells the story of the app’s value proposition. Custom iconography helps highlight the benefits. Meanwhile, rotating testimonials and plenty of opportunities to contact the app’s creators give the buyer a sense of security. When the time comes, the site is ready to integrate with a third-party helpdesk product or to host its own ticket system.
